Contact Us

This page is the direct line to the people behind this site. It covers questions about the free walks listed here, the free-entry days at places such as the Gallerie dell'Accademia, and anything unclear about how reservations work. Every walk belongs to an independent local guide, so some questions are better answered by GuruWalk or freetour.com, and this page says which is which.

Write whenever something on this site looks wrong or needs explaining. If a meeting point description seems off, if a walk's language is unclear, or if a free-entry rule has changed, a short note is enough. Corrections keep this directory honest, and this site would rather hear about an error than leave it standing.

What Happens Next

Your message is read by the person who maintains this directory, not by a call centre. Replies usually cover what the site can fix, such as a correction or a clearer explanation, and what needs the platform instead. If a question concerns a booking, the answer will point you to GuruWalk or to freetour.com, since reservations happen there and nowhere else.

What We Don't Handle

This site does not run any of the walks. Each one is operated by an independent local guide, listed on GuruWalk or, in one case, on freetour.com. A request to change a date, add a person or cancel a place cannot be handled here, because the reservation sits with the platform where the free spot was booked.

Tipping is also outside this site's hands. Every walk is free, pay what you want, and the amount a visitor gives a guide is decided entirely between them at the end. No figure is suggested anywhere on this site, and no request to recommend one will get an answer, only a restatement of how the walks work.

Complaints about a walk itself go to the guide or to the platform. If a walk started late or a route felt rushed, GuruWalk or freetour.com can pass that feedback on, and their reviews are where other visitors will read it. This site can note a recurring problem in its own copy but cannot resolve it.

Finally, this site cannot promise schedules. Departure times, seasonal gaps and language availability are set by each guide, not by this directory, so no request for a guaranteed time slot can be met. The same applies to museum free days: rules such as the Gallerie dell'Accademia's first-Sunday entry belong to the museum, and any change there is the museum's to announce.
